6" tall x 3" at lip, 4.5” at belly, very primitive piece. Working with random, reused and found color always brings a certain level of chaos to my pieces, and occasionally one steps all the way out into crazyland. When I first saw it cold, I declared it a hard NO, which is not common. I do funky stuff, but it usually works out. My teacher/partner in crime immediately says, I don’t know. Give it a minute.
I do like the way it feels in my hand, and how it handles big light. Taking a good look at it, I have found all manner of things; a dog's head, Christmas candy, a couple of fish, etc. It is growing on me, so I have decided to give it a chance. Very heavily textured, stout with great weight in the bottom, and so much to see.
