Home Delivery

Do you offer home delivery?

We currently offer free Home Delivery for orders over $20 to most zip codes in the Chicago Metro area. Orders are delivered every Tuesday and Saturday! 

We ask that all pick-up and home delivery orders are placed:

before 12:00 AM on Monday night for Wednesday Pick-Up & Home Delivery

before 12:00 AM Thursday night for Saturday Pick-Up & Home Delivery

Where do you deliver?

We began offering home delivery as a response to Covid-19. Because we are a small business with only 3 full time employees, at this time we can only manage limited delivery routes. The zip codes to which we currently deliver are listed below. If your zip code is not listed, but you would like us to deliver to your house please get in touch with us, if possible we will add your area to our delivery route. Bonus points if you can get some of your neighbors to place orders as well!

How much is delivery?

We are currently offering free home delivery for orders over $20

For orders under $20 we currently only offer the option for local pick-up at our partner locations (see below)

When do I need to place my order?

For Wednesday deliveries, orders must be placed by midnight on Monday.

For Saturday deliveries, orders must be placed by midnight on Thursday.

Pick-Up

Is there a pick-up option?

We work with multiple local businesses to offer our customers a local pick-up options. Pick-up partners do change a bit seasonally so check back here occasionally.

Prairie Grass Cafe in Northbrook - 601 Skokie Blvd, Northbrook (Tuesday & Saturday)

To pick up at Prairie Grass Cafe, simply drive up and give them a call @ (847 205 4433) on arrival.

Not only have Prairie Grass Cafe provided us the opportunity to utilize their restaurant as a pick-up location but PGC uses Three Sisters Garden produce all year round. Please do consider placing an order with them for curbside pick-up or take the opportunity to dine on their patio. www.prairiegrasscafe.com

Shipping & Freshness

Can you ship your products?

To ensure that our goods arrive with you in the best condition and with the same freshness in which they were harvested, we will only ship our dry goods. With the exception of our shelled pecans, which we only ship in the winter months. For

About Us

We are Certified Naturally Grown and gluten free.

What is the difference between organic and naturally grown?

The rules are exactly the same. Organic certification is a for profit based system on the part of the certifying agency. Naturally Grown is a totally nonprofit, peer based inspection system that allows for greater community and collaboration between growers.

Gluten Free:

We are very careful about saying gluten free at Three Sisters, because we do process oats, and they have gluten, but it is a bit different than the gluten found in wheat.  

Are we absolutely gluten free? The short answer is no.  

Do we have a great deal of return gluten free customers that have come to trust our products as free from the type of gluten that will make them sick? Yes.  

I will not guarantee it, and if the problem is severe, I will recommend against purchasing our oats specifically, but many of our customers are gluten sensitive and experience no undesirable effects from consuming our products.
