Blue Waves

This teardrop vase has been with me for a while. Although quite a bit calmer than most of my work, I love the undulations of the blue surrounding the top, and the knowledge that there are only 3 colors on this piece, the remaining, more nuanced shade are all about what the colors did on their own, gently reacting to each other, creating designs I can only encourage. I do love the less stable colors. Heavy piece, but so narrow, it is likely best suited for smaller, lighter, or dried arrangements. 8.5" tall x 3.5" at belly, just shy of 1.5" at the lip.
